Anyway, i just got back from filming for a short film done by my friends, ColourBar Production. I played the lead role in the film. I met up with Nora, Peter(Nora's boyfriend), Lin and Sarah at NAFA TCC. Ilmi, Michelle and Hasyim(the guy who played my boyfriend in the film) were late. So Nora, Lin and Sarah went in the TCC to discuss how to shoot the scene. We had to ask permission from TCC to film there and they were so nice about it. At around 9am, Michelle, Ilmi and Hasyim came. Nora, Lin, Sarah, Michelle and Ilmi shared money to buy drinks for both Hasyim and me since we're both acting in their film. Trust me, it was a great feeling. Haha. Free drinks!! Haha. Anyway, in this scene, my character, Freda, were suppose to meet Peter, played by Hasyim, at TCC. My character is supposely financially tight and she had hostel fees to pay and on top of that, her dad got into an accident. Haha. While Nora, Sarah, Ilmi and Michelle were setting up the camera and all, Lin helped both Hasyim and me with our lines, to make sure that we have chemistry when we act out. I was quite nervous actually. It's my first acting debut and I wanted to be convincing. And I had to cry. Haha. It was difficult to cry on the spot but hopefully, I was able to convince people I cried. Overall, I think both Hasyim and I did ok. I don't know whether we have chemistry on the set, but i hope we're both convincing enough as a couple....
Then after that scene, we had to shoot a scene where I'm in a classroom and thinking bout my mum and dad. Then I had to sneak out of the class while the "lecturer" played by Lin, was sleeping. Shooting that scene was fun!! Haha. We were all so comical. Haha. While we were shooting that scene, both Ilmi and Hasyim slept. Haha. Lazy guys. Haha....
After that scene, we head down to the road where Peter was going to be killed. Michelle's friend helped to be the driver that knock down Peter. That scene took quite a long time. I was practically bored since I'm not in that scene. Haha. But it was funny watching Hasyim trying to act shocked when the car was about to hit him. Haha. At that time, it was already 1 plus in the afternoon. And we were all hungry but we still have a few more scene to shoot....
Then, we had to shoot scene where my character and Hasyim's character got out of TCC and send me to school. It was embarrassing as there were lots of people there at the lift lobby. I had to hold his hand, and then after we said our lines, we had to hug. When we hugged, i almost laughed. Luckily his head blocked the camera view of my head. Haha....
Then we shoot the scene where i called him and asked him to hurry to pick me up. Yes, I was supposed to act bitchy to my "boyfriend". Haha....
After that we had our last scene where Hasyim's character, Peter, received a call from Freda, played by yours truly, asking him to fetch her from school. It was the scene before he got knocked down by the car. Haha....
After all the scenes were all done, we were all relieved and hungry!! So Lin, Nora, Sarah, Michelle and Ilmi treated both Hasyim and me to chicken rice at Ah Mei for helping them act. As for me, I'm not complaining cause I got free food. Haha. Yes, I'm only thinking of food. Haha. And so this one whole day, I had loads of fun. It's great that I get to act as I've always love acting. I've managed to have the experience of acting. All the memorising. Haha. Pretending to be someone I'm not. That was the greatest challenge for me. I'm glad I get to do it....
To the crew of ColourBar Production, I wanna say thanks for the opportunity that you guys have given me, the faith that you guys have in me, thank you so much. I really appreciate it....
P.S. Oh btw, i just wanna ask you guys, do we have chemistry as a couple? Haha. I'm just curious. Haha.
